Description
There is massive confusion over parking in Hanwell Broadway.
Lidl has a car park, which is meant to be a "town centre" car park, ie. you do not have to shop in Lidl to park. However, this is not made clear on their signs, and so because customers to not want to shop/queue in Lidl they are deterred from parking there.
The extension of a bus stop (where if you stop a camera issues you a ticket) to now cover the length of road directly outside our store has also acted as a deterant, as customers looking to purchase larger items do not have anywhere to load within carrying distance. There is a recently "built" loading bay, however this is approx 150m away, outside shops which do not require one.
A few (3/4) stop and shop bays have recently been put in place, but like the comments from someone in Ealing Broadway, the signage is unclear. 3 or 4 bays is also not going to create an affluent area.
